2007 RRD Z-RIDE BOARD

"What a great performance board this is!"
This is the comment of a long time freeride customer that I have met on the
beach this fall, testing the new 2007 protos. Better handling in all winds, easy
to footsteer, easy to plane and fast, fast , fast boards!!!!!
What to improve from 2006:
- Better response to footsteering
- Better turning potential
- More speed in low end
Design features:
The boards are all a litlle longer and have the same width. The outlines are
even more round and the slightly square-rounded nose allows to keep width and
volume even when the board is shorter. More compact boards result in:
Better foosteering, granted by a lower thickness; your feet are now lower on the
water.
The Flat section of the scooprocker line has been extended even further , to
give a better a NON-ACTIVE planing capacity. You wait for the gust, do not pump
on your sail and the board will start planing immediately as the wind increases!
The double concave bottom together with the slightly lower "V" design of the
hull, have allowed the 07 freeride boards to be also faster in the top end.
