Maui Sails Global 4.0

The 2009 Globals continue to improve in handling and speed while retaining the raw power and ease of use that has made them famous. Tasked with making a sail for the broadest use possible that will be good for less than ideal conditions, we used shaping advances from 2008 and managed to keep the powerful early planing characteristics while enhancing the balance and speed.

The bold new Global graphic is highlighted by pearlescent white accents, and is a standout in any circumstance. Lighter chafe materials, added KevlarGäó leech reinforcements, reduced foot bead, and the tough new sleeve material all add value and performance to this fast and comfortable free-wave machine. This year there will be a 6.8 added to the range to suit the demands of those looking for super light wind performance and handling.
