Speedster : Power and stability

The Speedster is the top performance rig in our range. An excellent, versatile, powerful rig for our freeride and freeride race boards, a good performer in all conditions, it's highly versatile with changing characteristics according to size. More slalom in its mid-range, more race in bigger sizes.
The design has been modified for 2006 to improve performance even further : special attention has been paid to rotations which are much easier, plus a wider wind range, specially where that concerns strong winds. As for its construction, there are extra reinforcements where they're most needed : the edging is now in a wider X-ply (woven fabric), extra reinforcing at mast head and foot and battens plus a mast sleeve made from a new, harder wearing fabric.
The Speedster is perfectly suited to all the One Design boards  Techno and Formula Experience. The 2006 Speedster 6.8 m2 now has two cambers. The 7.8 still has two. Both these are well suited to freeride as well as racing.
The 8.8, 9.8 and 10.8 m2 sizes retain their three camber form, extra long wishbones and the sail volume that help get up to planing early and good upwind speed. They're recommended for short and wide freeride boards and for the Formula Experience range.
